Support our Playground Build Project at Greece Montessori School, by helping to enhance our outdoor play area! We're thrilled to embark on this Montessori-informed and nature-inspired journey to transform our outdoor space into a vibrant haven for our children.

Our vision includes raised planter beds, inviting children to connect with nature firsthand as they plant and nurture a variety of flowers and vegetables in their very own garden. This hands-on experience fosters a sense of responsibility and stewardship, teaching valuable life skills while instilling a love for the natural world.

Central to our design is a carefully crafted wooden playscape, where imagination knows no bounds. With slides to zoom down and areas to climb and explore, children will delight in endless adventures while developing gross motor skills and fostering creativity.

In addition to traditional playground features, our space will also showcase natural elements like tree trunks, stumps, and rocks, inviting children to engage in imaginative play and discovery. These elements not only inspire wonder but also provide opportunities for sensory exploration and connection with the environment.

At Greece Montessori School, we believe in nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Our Playground Build Project embodies this philosophy, offering a dynamic outdoor environment where children can learn, play, and thrive in harmony with nature. For our Playground Build Project, we are relying on the generosity of people like you to join us on our mission to create a vibrant and safe playground where our students can learn, grow, and play together. You can help us make this vision a reality by donating or volunteering your time.

Donate

Your donation will directly contribute to the construction of our new playground, providing our students with a space to explore, imagine, and have fun. Every dollar counts and brings us one step closer to building a place where memories are made. And as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donations are tax-deductible! Please visit our Donations Tab for more information on how to donate monetarily. If you would prefer to donate in-kind materials towards our Playground, please reference the list of requested materials below.

In-Kind Materials Requested: 

• • Boulders/stones (800 square feet)
  • Rubber mulch (800 square feet)
  • Logs (18" diameter, 4'-6' long)
  • Tree stumps (12" to 18" diameter, 2'-3' long)
  • Gift baskets and/or items for silent auction at the Fall Festival

Volunteer

We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to roll up your sleeves and join us on-site to assist with building tasks, landscaping, or organizing fundraising events. Whether you're skilled in construction or simply eager to lend a helping hand, your time and effort are invaluable in bringing this project to life.

Upcoming FUNdraisers!

Contributing towards our playground project couldn't be easier...or more delicious!

We have an upcoming FUNdraising event; please help spread the word with friends, neighbors, coworkers -- everyone! We would love to see a big turnout, because a percentage of the revenue generated from our events go directly to our playground project.

For your order to count towards our fundraiser, please tell the cashier that you are there for the Greece Montessori Fundraiser. Even better if you have the flyers (attached) with you! 

Can and Bottle Drive!

Ask your friends, neighbors and families to save the NY recyclable cans and bottles for GMS. Drop them off to GMS on July 27th from 9-4pm, or arrange for us to pick them up from your house. Call (585) 472-2115 to arrange a pick up.
