Parent testimonials
Dear Rosa,
This letter is a testimony to the wonderful experience that our family had
with Montessori education. Both of our daughters, Madison and Olivia,
participated in a Montessori education program beginning with the toddler
program and finishing in kindergarten. Enrolling in Montessori was the single
most important decision we made for our children during this time.
We entered into our endeavor with little understanding of the Montessori
Method. Through independent reading, parent study groups, and classroom
observations we quickly increased our knowledge. Learning more about the
Montessori Method was important. It helped us bring the Montessori philosophy
into our home. This was a critical component in helping the girls’ reach their
full potential.
The partnership between home and school was another benefit of our Montessori
experience. Madison and Olivia formed strong bonds with directresses, classroom
assistants, and the school administrator. It was comforting to know that they
spent their days with nurturing, kind individuals who had a stake in their
development. The school personnel that surrounded them enjoyed watching them
grow and develop as much as we did!
The academic pieces were extremely impressive. The girls’ ability to read,
write, and do mathematical computations consistently impressed us. They both
love to learn and have an excitement and enthusiasm about school. They are both
avid readers and transitioned well into public education.
Although the academic experience was wonderful, it is not the reason we are
so passionate about their Montessori education. It was watching them grow
socially and emotionally that kept us going back year after year. Both of our
children are confident, kind, and self-reliant individuals. They are described
as leaders by their teachers, have incredible empathy skills, and are able to
get along with their peers.
